Terms of use

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This is a translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the NOVSTR platform, a tool for analysing and valuing influencer collaborations intended for creators, advertisers and agencies. Any use of the platform implies full acceptance of these terms.

2. Definitions

  • Creator: a user who connects their networks and/or generates analyses about themselves.
  • Professional: an advertiser or agency using NOVSTR to value collaborations.
  • Flash Analysis: an estimate based on manually entered data, without connecting an account.
  • Certified Analysis: an analysis based on the real data of a connected account.
  • Credit / Quota: a unit used to generate an analysis.
  • Code: an identifier generated by a professional and sent to a creator, through an invitation link that contains it, to produce a Certified Analysis.

3. Access to the service

Access to NOVSTR is reserved for people aged 18 or over and requires a valid account. Some features require connecting a social media account via our subprocessor InsightIQ / Phyllo, in read-only mode. NOVSTR may suspend or restrict access in the event of abusive, fraudulent or non-compliant use.

4. Description of the service

NOVSTR produces price estimates and negotiation benchmarks from performance data and collaboration parameters. Analyses are based on business rules and internal benchmarks and are indicative estimates. NOVSTR does not guarantee any commercial, contractual or financial result.

5. Accounts, organisations and roles

A professional can invite colleagues into an organisation and assign them roles (admin, member, read-only) that determine their rights. Each user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential.

6. Credits, subscriptions and billing

  • Creators: the service may be offered on a pay-per-use basis, through credits (1 credit = 1 report).
  • Professionals: the service may be offered through a monthly or annual subscription including analysis quotas (on an annual plan, the quota remains monthly). Monthly quotas do not roll over from one month to the next and are renewed each month.
  • Payments are processed via Stripe. Credits and quotas are attached to the account or team and are non-transferable.
  • Unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise, amounts paid and credits used are non-refundable. The conditions of sale (prices, payment, right of withdrawal, cancellation of subscriptions) are set out in the Terms of sale.

7. Certified Analysis and data sharing

When a professional generates a code and a creator uses it, the resulting Certified Analysis is shared between the creator and the professional, who both have access to it. By using a code, the creator consents to this sharing. Data processing is described in the Privacy policy.

For the analyses, campaigns and reports created in their area, the professional acts as data controller and NOVSTR as processor within the meaning of article 28 of the GDPR, under the clauses of the Appendix below. Deleting a creator's account erases their own personal data, but does not delete the Certified Analysis reports held by a professional, who may keep them as part of their business relationship.

Analyses of creators by a professional

When analysing a creator, in particular a creator who does not use NOVSTR (Flash Analysis), the professional warrants that they have a legal basis for this processing (for example preparing a collaboration), that they will inform the creator in accordance with article 14 of the GDPR when they contact them, that they will only enter data needed for the estimate (no sensitive data) and that they will respond to the creator's requests.

8. User responsibility

Users undertake to provide accurate information, not to misuse the service and not to use it for fraudulent or illegal purposes. They remain solely responsible for decisions made on the basis of the analyses generated.

9. Limitation of liability

NOVSTR provides a decision-support tool. The platform is neither legal advice, nor financial advice, nor a guarantee of income or of a contractual agreement. NOVSTR cannot be held liable for a commercial disagreement, a lost opportunity or a change in performance. The service is provided "as is", without any guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

10. Intellectual property

The NOVSTR model, its benchmarks, algorithms, interface, content and visual identity are protected. Any unauthorised reproduction, extraction or use of the model or of the reports generated is prohibited. Any modification that alters a certified report invalidates it.

11. Personal data

The use of personal data is governed by the Privacy policy. NOVSTR uses, as data controller, analysis characteristics anonymised as soon as they are recorded (no name, no account name, no link to an account or organisation, rounded values) to improve its model and produce aggregated market statistics.

12. Changes and termination

NOVSTR may change, suspend or modify its features and update its model. Users may stop using the service and delete their account at any time. NOVSTR may suspend or terminate access in the event of a breach of these terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any action; failing that, the French courts will have jurisdiction. Complaint procedures are set out in the Terms of sale.

Appendix: processing of data on behalf of professionals (article 28 of the GDPR)

This appendix applies when NOVSTR processes personal data on behalf of a professional (the "Client"), within their organisation's area.

  • Subject and duration: hosting and processing the organisation's analyses, campaigns, reports, codes and invitations, for as long as the service is used.
  • Nature and purpose: calculating price estimates for influencer collaborations, tracking campaigns and budgets, sharing Certified Analysis reports.
  • Data and data subjects: analysed creators (account name, aggregated performance and audience data, collaboration parameters and prices); members and invitees of the organisation (email address, role).
  • Instructions: NOVSTR only processes this data on the Client's documented instructions, consisting of these terms and the use of the service's features, and informs the Client if an instruction appears to breach the regulations.
  • Confidentiality: people authorised to process this data are bound by a confidentiality obligation.
  • Security: NOVSTR implements the measures described in the Privacy policy (encrypted communications, separation by organisation and role, revocable sessions, European database hosting).
  • Sub-processors: the Client authorises NOVSTR to use the providers listed in the Privacy policy. NOVSTR informs the Client of any change by updating this list; the Client may object by ceasing to use the service. NOVSTR imposes equivalent obligations on its providers.
  • Assistance: NOVSTR helps the Client, as far as possible, to respond to requests to exercise rights and to meet their security and impact assessment obligations.
  • Data breach: NOVSTR notifies the Client of any data breach concerning them without undue delay, and no later than 48 hours after becoming aware of it.
  • End of processing: when the organisation's last account is deleted, its analyses, campaigns and codes are deleted; the Client may export its data beforehand. Anonymised market statistics (section 11) are not personal data and are not affected.
  • Audit: NOVSTR makes available to the Client the information needed to demonstrate compliance with this appendix, upon written request.
